Why I Chose This Hair

I've worked with several different Afro Kinky textures, and this one has become one of my favorites.

I love the way it creates the soft, fluffy finish you see throughout my videos while still maintaining natural movement. The ends also have a beautiful textured, water-wave pattern that gives the finished twists that juicy, lived-in look I love.

Another thing I've noticed is how well human hair responds to moisture.

During a recent retouch, I took down one of my client's Human Hair Mini Twist installs and her natural hair underneath still felt beautifully moisturized. That's one of the reasons I love working with human hair for long-term protective styles.

You can mist it, moisturize it, wash it, refresh it with mousse, and care for it much like you would your own hair.

How Much Hair Do I Need?

Hair is sold per pack.

Most full-head Human Hair Mini Twist installs use approximately 3½–5 packs.

The exact amount will depend on:

Your desired twist size
Your desired fullness
Your finished length
Your natural hair density

As a general guide:

Fuller or waist-length twists: approximately 5-6 packs
Shoulder-length, fuller/chunkier twists: approximately 4 packs
Shorter or slightly thinner installs: approximately 3–4 packs

Longer styles require more hair because additional hair is fed into the twists throughout the installation to create length while maintaining fullness through the ends.

If you're unsure, I generally recommend having a little more hair rather than running short during your install.

Care Instructions

Human hair twists look their best when they stay moisturized.

For maintenance:

Mist your twists with water every 2–3 days or as needed.
Follow with a moisturizing mousse or your preferred lightweight hair moisturizer.
Pay special attention to the ends.
Refresh with mousse whenever the twists need a little extra definition.
Trim flyaways as needed as the style ages.

If you love the juicy, defined finish at the ends, consistent moisture is key.
