Why I Chose This Hair

I've worked with different Afro Kinky textures before deciding to offer this one, and this one is my fave. I think it's gorgeous!

It creates the soft, fluffy finish you see throughout my videos while still having beautiful natural movement. The ends have a textured, water-wave pattern that I absolutely love and that gives the finished twists a soft, juicy look.

One of my favorite things about working with human hair is how well it responds to moisture.

When I recently took down one of my client's Human Hair Mini Twist installs for a retouch, her natural hair underneath still felt moisturized. Human hair can be misted, moisturized, washed, and refreshed throughout the life of the style, which is one of the reasons I prefer it for longer-term protective styles.

How Much Hair Do I Need?

This listing includes 5 packs of 18" Human Hair Afro Kinky Bulk.

Most full-head Human Hair Mini Twist installs use approximately 3½–5 packs, depending on your desired fullness, twist size, finished length, and natural hair density.

As a general guide:

Fuller or waist-length twists: approximately 5-6 packs
Shoulder-length, chunky/full twists: approximately 4 packs
Shorter or slightly thinner twists: approximately 3–4 packs

Longer styles require more hair because additional hair is fed into each twist throughout the installation to create length while keeping the ends full.

Every head and desired look is different, but the 5-pack bundle is designed to provide enough hair for most full-head installs.

If you're booking a Human Hair Mini Twist appointment with me, you can add this 5-pack bundle directly to your appointment and I'll have your hair ready when you arrive.

This is also the hair approved for use with my Human Hair Mini Twist service.

Care Instructions

Because this is human hair, you can care for it much like your own hair.

Mist your twists with water every 2–3 days or as needed.
Moisturize regularly to keep the hair soft.
Pay special attention to the ends.
Refresh with mousse as needed.
Trim flyaways as they appear.

If you want that juicy, defined finish at the ends to last, consistent moisture is especially important.

Healthy, moisturized twists always look their best.
