Take Down Service

This service is for the removal of braids, twists, cornrows, sew-ins, or quick weaves.

Please read the full service description before booking. Your deposit confirms that you have reviewed and agreed to the service requirements below.

Service Details

Take down pricing is based on the amount of time required to safely remove your style.

If your install has been in for an extended period, especially 2 months or longer, removal and detangling may take additional time.

Once your appointment goes beyond the initial 2-hour service time, additional time is charged at $30 per hour.

Wash & Detangling

If your hair will need to be washed, detangled, and blow dried after your take down, please add the Wash & Blow Dry option at checkout.

Wash and blow dry services are completed at African Twin Hair Braiding And Beauty, 1429 Elizabeth Ave, Charlotte, NC 28204.

When this option is selected, your take down and remaining service will be completed at the salon as well.

Please add this option at checkout so the salon arrangements can be made in advance.

Booking & Service Changes

Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Any changes to your booked service must also be requested at least 24 hours before your appointment.

I am unable to switch services the day before or on the day of your appointment.

Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve your appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable for client cancellations, late changes, or appointments that cannot be completed because service requirements were not followed.

Your deposit reserves your appointment time.

Location

📍 Midtown Charlotte

Appointments are performed in my private residence/home studio.

Your full appointment address and contact information will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

In-Home Appointments

Mobile/in-home appointments are available only to returning clients who have already completed an appointment with me.

First-time clients must complete their first service at my location.

Approved in-home appointments include an $80 travel fee.

Before Your Appointment

Please make sure the service you book matches the style you currently have installed.

If your style is heavily tangled, matted, has been installed for an extended period, or you believe your take down may require additional time, please contact me before your appointment.

Age Requirement

Clients must be 18 years or older to book independently.

Appointments for clients under 18 are accepted only with prior approval. Please contact me before booking a service for a minor.
